Polished blackstone bricks with lighter basalt pillars, the blocks a bastion is made of. Magma blocks glow along the base, and a few gilded blackstone blocks are the only gold.

How to build with it
- Mark out 13 × 13 blocks and lay the Polished Blackstone floor first.
- Put Polished Basalt on every corner and every 4 or 5 blocks along long walls, then fill between them with Polished Blackstone Bricks.
- Roof it with Blackstone stairs and slabs. Keep the whole build within 16 blocks of height, roof included.
- Give Magma Block one job, such as a band under the roof or frames around doors and windows, and repeat it.
- Add Gilded Blackstone last and use less of it than you think.
Rules for this build
- Every corner gets a Polished Basalt pillar, top to bottom.
- Something sticks up: a chimney, a tower or a spire.
- No flat walls: push or pull something every 3 blocks.
