Crimson forest house
Crimson planks between white quartz pillars, the strongest contrast the Nether has, under a near-black nether brick roof. Stripped crimson stems trim the doors, and shroomlight from the same forest lights it.

How to build with it
- Mark out 9 × 9 blocks and lay the Polished Blackstone floor first.
- Put Quartz Pillar on every corner and every 4 or 5 blocks along long walls, then fill between them with Crimson Planks.
- Roof it with Nether Bricks stairs and slabs. Keep the whole build within 10 blocks of height, roof included.
- Give Stripped Crimson Stem one job, such as a band under the roof or frames around doors and windows, and repeat it.
- Add Shroomlight last and use less of it than you think.
Rules for this build
- Every corner gets a Quartz Pillar pillar, top to bottom.
- Light it without a single torch.
- Something sticks up: a chimney, a tower or a spire.
Rules keep a build from turning into a box. Follow all three, or roll others in Blockroll.
